Psst....umm...Mother Nature.....

Hey!  Whatsup with this!  93 degrees yesterday!!  The same or higher today!!??!
The frost's supposed to be on the pumpkin by now, we're not supposed to be setting records for heat in NOVEMBER!  Not likin' this.  AT ALL.

Got my new soldier - only this time its a sailor and, like last time, a female.  The box was ready to go yesterday and the name came in today and I've already got the paper work filled out and ready to go.  No clue about her, never seen an address like hers before, doesn't look as tho she's on a ship.  Wonder if she's one of the sailors sort of on loan to the army?  Can't wait to hear from her!
Off to the Post Office  :))))

I'll trade you for what we're getting here in the Ohio River Valley USA...hi/49 low/28 YIKES!! I'm so not ready for cold weather.

Good luck with your new soldier!! Navy has been putting 'boots on ground' quite a bit nowadays. Novel experience for them, I'm sure. Please tell her that there are many of us wishing her well and giving thanks for ALL of them! :)

I'd take your weather in a New York minute! Our lows don't often go as low as yours is -- and its not even winter yet for you. Some little tickle in the back of my mind is suggesting river valleys tend to be cold places.

Another day in the 90's today. eehhh....*whining*

Really eager to "meet" her. Wonder if she's got a green zone assignment like LT Nixon did.... I swear, I think his job was his blog! Sending a little letter today, it'll probably get there faster than the pkg.
